Help the mermaids with beach cleans!

Anyone can do a beach clean. Weather you arrange a group clean up on your favorite beach, or just pick up a few bits of rubbish while you walk your dog in the evening. Every single bit of rubbish you pick up can help to make a difference! 

Washed up boxes and rope make great sledges to carry, picked up litter!

Tips on how  to arrange your own beach clean...

• Pick a beach

Weather its your favorite beach, or a beach you think particularly needs a clean.

• Invite people.
  

Invite a few friends, or make it big and invite everyone!

• Be prepared 

 Take bin bags, gloves, litter pickers e.c.t 

• pick up the plastic

Clean the beach completely, or just a small section. Be careful of sharp objects and if something looks dangerous leave it alone and find someone who can help you out.

• decide what to do with the rubbish!

Find a bin nearby. If it wont all fit in the bin leave the bags neatly beside the bin to be collected. Or if you prefer, you can take it home to recycle.
